Today is the release day for my debut, SELINA’S WORLD. What a surreal feeling.
When I first started taking writing seriously, I wrote fantasy. And then I realized I really loved sci-fi, too. Horror was nowhere on my radar. But I think some of the best stories are the raw ones that come from a deep and personal place, and the first version of SELINA’S WORLD was born in that exact space.
And now, I get to share it with everyone.
A big thank you to everyone who pre-ordered and/or placed an order today. It feels strange for a book to be in a place where I can’t touch it anymore. There’s always been some new task to complete, some new mountain to climb within the book itself. Write a new scene. Edit all those nasty typos. Cover design, learning about programs, etc. But now, the only thing left for me to do is to say thank you.
So…what comes next?
Outside of promoting this book (which is a big thing unto itself), there are other stories to tell in Selina’s world — the world in which she resides, that is. A number of them are in various stages of editing. Others are still unwritten. Progress has slowed the last couple of weeks, as we were in the process of buying a home, and the timeline for that just happened to perfectly overlap with the busiest part of the marketing and writing process.
But this won’t be the last you see of Worldweaver or of New Groton. Be sure to keep an eye on my store page and Patreon. Now that SELINA’S WORLD has released, Patreon-exclusive content will be coming soon.
A big thank you again to everyone who is joining me beneath the neon lights.
